This is an informational web site designed to engage local residence in conversation with the Queens Borough President and our local City Council Member in support of the city (NYCDOT) designing and building a sidewalk on the west side of Commonwealth Blvd (southwest bound ) from Marathon Parkway to the Frank Padavan Educational Campus (adjacent to the Douglaston Golf Course and slightly farther south past the Grand Central Pkwy overpass). 

This is a local advocacy initiative but may serve as a model for civic engagement in other regions.
